Villas Vibras

The owners at Villas Vibras were kind, easy to reach, and made the whole stay feel relaxed. The property is beautiful and clearly cared for, and the recent renovations gave my suite a fresh, stylish feel. It was super comfortable too. I came to surf, and the vibe suited that perfectly, though the place also feels very family friendly. I got to see both villas, which look ideal for families or friends, and the owners said you can rent the whole property for a large group. Traveling solo, I felt safe and at home the whole time. It's such a welcoming, chill spot. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and am already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend it for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

CJ and Sue were delightful, checking in with us and sharing ideas for local activities, places to eat, and main attractions. The hospitality was superb, and the hotel was clean and stylish. It was comfortable and convenient, with a calm, zen feel. I especially liked being close enough to surf at the beach or do a morning sun salutation 🧘 🧘‍♀️. I've visited Costa Rica before and will be back. Villas Vibras would suit a solo trip or a family stay.

The owners, CJ and Sue, went out of their way to help me feel welcome and safe as a solo female traveler. They were attentive and respectful, explained the gates and parking, kept the grounds immaculate, and recommended places in Tamarindo for groceries and essentials. They also helped me choose companies for the two excursions I took. A big shoutout to Native’s Way Costa Rica and their awesome staff. The location worked perfectly for me: the public beach and the main restaurants and coffee shops in Playa Avellanas are just down the road, with a convenience store close by too. Food options were plentiful and really delicious. The garden and pool were beautifully maintained, and the outdoor hallways were swept several times a day. I liked the surfboard stands by each room entrance. My standard Queen room had a handy layout with a separate kitchenette and living room, so the sleeping area felt more private, plus a big walk-in shower. I also got a peek at the family villas, which had the amenities a family would need on vacation. I travel often, so location and the look of a hotel matter a lot to me. Villas Vibras exceeded my expectations on both. It was beautiful, relaxing, romantic, and family friendly. No notes. 😎

Sue and CJ were the most charming part of the trip. They welcomed us like family and had so many good suggestions for things to do. Our two-bedroom villa was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the well-kept pool and grounds made for a peaceful stay. Playa Avellana was a short distance away, Tamarindo about a 25-minute drive, and there were plenty of small local places to eat and drink nearby. We couldn't have been happier and will definitely return.
