The views from the balcony are lovely on a clear day, and there's plenty of parking. It's close to the main part of Tilaran, too. A couple runs the place, and they provide a clean, comfortable bed, a hot shower, free breakfast, and WiFi. The rooms are cleaned daily and come with fresh towels. It's not a fancy hotel, but I'd stay here again.

The hosts were wonderful, friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. The hotel is just a minute or two by car from town, where there are shops if you need anything. Lake Arenal is right nearby, with some nice places and activities on the water. From there, La Fortuna, MonteVerde, Volcan Tenorio National Park, and Palo Verde National Park are all worthwhile destinations, around a 1.5-hour drive depending on which way you go. Costa Rica's mostly single-lane roads can make the drive slower than you might expect. We had a great stay in Tilaran.

The room was clean and comfortable, and there's free secured parking on site. The pool and restaurant are convenient and nice. Breakfast is included, delicious, and has several choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

My brother and I had a really good stay. The hosts were very kind and made us a wonderful breakfast. Our room was clean, reasonably priced, and had a beautiful view.

I paid 20,000 for the night, and they let me check in early, so it felt worth it. It's a nice 10-room hotel with a pool and free breakfast, including pinto and eggs. My room had a TV, two medium beds, and a bunk bed.
