The rooms are okay, though I wished they had a closet for clothes and a bathroom cabinet for toiletries. The location is great, at the end of a road, and the grounds are huge, full of plants, trees, nature, and wildlife. The manager was very polite and attentive, and the service was very good. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The family owners were available to help, and they served a home-cooked breakfast. Still, the cabin was dirty, including the bathroom, and there was a strange smell from the plumbing. Most of the lights didn’t work, and there was neither a fan nor AC. For a cabin this unclean, the price felt too high.

The gardens were beautiful, and our cabin was basic but adequate for the two of us. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious, a typical Costa Rican meal. The owners have turned a coffee plantation into a tropical getaway. It’s a family-run Costa Rican retreat, not a resort by international standards. A real taste of Costa Rica!

Come ready to slow down and enjoy the natural surroundings. The cabins are cozy, and the hosts are very attentive. It’s easy to reach on a paved road from the center of Santa Rosa de Turrialba, and a good place to get away from stress.
