Alborada Boutique Stay

We had a car problem, and the owner was really kind and helped us reach the rental company. Parking also felt very secure. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, well stocked, and well maintained. Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed the pool and the central hangout area. It’s a cozy getaway in a great location, and we loved staying here.

We loved being greeted by the owners’ friendly little dogs, though they do keep them up and away from guests. The pool sits right outside the villas, and the plants and trees around it make a relaxing setting. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with generous portions. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and made our first visit to Costa Rica feel restful.

I took this trip for my March birthday, but it’s taken me a little while to put into words how grateful I am. I miss it so much, and I’ve already told friends and fellow travelers about Alborada Boutique Stay. I’ll make staying here a priority whenever I’m back in this part of Costa Rica. I was traveling alone and leaving my country for the first time, so booking at the last minute had me nervous. Once I arrived, though, I felt safe, cared for, and at peace. The welcome was warm, my space was clean and comfortable, and it really felt like a home away from home. The quiet location was easy to walk around, only minutes from the beach, which I went to at least twice a day. And breakfast every morning was delicious. The team was quick and thoughtful whenever I had a question, needed help arranging an excursion, or wanted information. That support made planning my days much easier. A special thank you to Miguel, who stayed up to greet me and help me check in safely when my shuttle from San José was delayed. I was on FaceTime with my mom when I arrived, and I remember him promising her he’d look after me and make sure I was okay. He did exactly that. Every place in the world needs a Miguel. You’re an amazing human being, and I’m truly grateful we met. That care meant so much and set the tone for my stay. Everything, from the hospitality and pricing to the beautiful surroundings, was perfect. This was honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed, and I don’t say that lightly.
