The center of town is a little far away, but the owners are so friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. The bathrooms, kitchen, and washing machine are all great. If you’re used to regular hostels, this feels like another world. It’s very cheap for the comfort it offers, and deserves more love and attention!

We had a double bed in a clean, comfortable room with air conditioning and a coffee machine. The room is quite compact, but really lovely, with a well-built open bathroom in a container-style frame. I’d definitely recommend this little Uvita treasure.

Kerlyn and David have been the most thoughtful, caring hosts we’ve met in three and a half months of traveling. Their place is relaxed and comfortable, and even when it was full it never felt crowded. People we met there wanted to extend their stays. The beach is quite far away, but being up in the hills is wonderful, with nice restaurants nearby and a river that’s great for cooling off in the morning or afternoon. Breakfast wasn’t mentioned in our booking, but they provided something every morning: pancakes, fruit, fresh Costa Rican biscuits, yogurt, granola, and always coffee. We could use the washing machine for free, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Kerlyn was always smiling and ready to help. She even let my wife use her laptop countless times. I definitely recommend staying here. Thanks so much, Kerlyn!

We chose this place twice during our trip, and would happily come back again 🤩 David and Kerlyn looked after us from start to finish. They’re some of the kindest people around. Everything was clean, thoughtfully arranged, and wonderfully laid back. Highly recommend!

We stayed three nights because the place was so relaxed and nice. There was fruit and coffee in the mornings, and sometimes banana bread, which was a lovely touch. Friendly staff and scenic shared spaces.
