A lovely place to stay, beautifully put together, with a river just a two minute walk away. We rented two rooms and had great hosts. I’d happily recommend it. The woman also bakes bread you can buy, and there’s an organic garden. After staying in lots of places in Costa Rica, this is my favorite.

We found everything very clean, and there’s secure private parking. The host was so friendly and attentive to whatever we needed, with a really good vibe. It’s handy for town, Ballena Marine Park, restaurants, and supermarkets, and would suit couples or solo travelers. My best photos are on my other phone, so these aren’t the greatest, but the place looks just like the Airbnb listing, maybe even better.
