The location was a big plus, with Chaman beach just a two-minute walk away, Colonia restaurant nearby, and Uvita Centre about five minutes away by car. Our room at Villas Maria Luisa was cozy and had the basics we needed, including a fridge, microwave, cups and glasses, and a small cooker. Check-in was friendly too. Yared was professional, helpful, and happy to guide us through our questions.

The huts were spotless and had cooking facilities, and the tropical garden was lovely. We spotted lots of pretty birds there. The hotel is run by a big-hearted guy, with lovely staff, and we really enjoyed our stay. Just keep in mind that beach access costs $6.70 per day, which felt like a bit of a ripoff. That isn't the hotel's fault, of course.

You’re just moments from the beach, and there’s plenty to enjoy at the property, including a games room, a pool, and a natural spring pool. Chito, the owner, made the visit feel magical. He’s a natural host and made us feel like family, whether he was serving cocktails, fresh smoothies, or fruit. The people working there made the place special. And Princess, the little pup, was a sweet little thing too.

The staff and owner were lovely, and the room was roomy and comfortable, with a nice kitchen and coffee machine. Hot water was available, though the shower stream was very weak. The pool was nice, and the area itself is beautiful, close to restaurants and the beach. We could hear a lot of noise from neighbors in other rooms since sound traveled easily through the walls and windows. Still, we had a good experience and were very happy with our seven days there. Good value for the price.

We loved sitting on the porch at night, listening to the nightlife, and there was plenty of fruit growing on the trees. Our family had a wonderful stay at Villas Maria luisa, a big-hearted place with a nice pool and a welcoming, relaxed crew. The cabins are simple, but comfortable, with AC, TV, cooking facilities, and hot water. It’s a three-minute walk to a white sand beach with great surf and lifeguards. Chito, the owner, has a big personality and lots of joie de vivre. When he noticed our guitar, he joined in with some lively songs. Everyone was personable and helpful. It’s a great place for a family.
