Yuli Hotel

The location was really handy, about a five-minute walk from the Marine Park and lots of shops and restaurants, and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and having access to the co-kitchen was great. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the food at Aura Restaurant was great. Everything was good.

The pool area was nice, though there was mold on the beds there too. The workers were nice, but the manager was less friendly. At first, I thought I loved this hotel. It looked good, was quiet, and had a great swimming pool. Then I noticed the rooms had a lot of mold, and you could smell it. From a downstairs room, you could hear everything from guests above. Rooms next to the restaurant got music until around 10 pm, I think. The rooms weren't clean either: there was a dead cockroach, ants, stains on multiple sheets, and sand in the bed. It could have been a great hotel, but it needs work.

The rooms were decent, but the service really let the stay down. On arrival, we were told there was no Wi-Fi because of a storm. After talking with other guests, it seemed the problem only affected us. We waited over an hour at reception before anyone dealt with it, and on several days there were more long waits for a manager to follow up. They said an electrician would come to fix it, but that never happened. The lack of care and poor service overshadowed the otherwise nice rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you expect basic hospitality.

We stayed one night and had a good time. The restaurant food was really nice, and the hotel’s setting and pool are beautiful. The staff were very helpful too. We left a hat behind, and when we asked if they’d found it, they said they would post it to us at our next hotel. That was really kind of them.
