The room was so cramped that getting in meant moving one of the two beds or squeezing past it along the wall and air conditioning. It was tiny, too, and the air conditioner was noisy enough that I couldn't leave it on overnight. On a hot night, I got very sweaty. There was also an uncovered window above the door. My twin room faced the patio, though all I could see was through frosted glass, with a curtain I couldn't move aside. The bathroom had a proper window, but anyone walking past to their room could look in if it was open. Breakfast was awful: disgusting cheese, terrible bread and juice, mostly inedible. The staff weren't friendly either, especially the man at reception, who was extremely rude when our group checked out. I stayed here one night on a group tour, and it was my first and last time. I never want to stay here again. Avoid.

A few months ago I paid $80.00 for breakfast, and it was very bad: burnt bread and horrible potatoes. We were the only ones there, yet the service took an extremely long time. It's absurd. They're not up to par.

The staff were excellent, and the service and rooms were good. It's centrally located, too. But only one restaurant was open, so the food choices were limited. US, end your illegal blockade.

The food was good, and the entertainment was excellent. It's a beautiful art deco hotel in a lovely part of town, with excellent facilities.

A good spot in Camaguey to watch the sun go down. The cocktails were okay, the staff reasonably engaging, and the prices fair, though a little high for Cuba.
