We went to Aunt Nuvia's and explored the beaches in the East, as well as taking walks along the Malecón. During our 13 days in Cuba, Rosi and Joan, who own Maramar, arranged and advised us on everything, and helped us see the most authentic, beautiful side of the country. Our route was Havana-Viñales-Puerto Esperanza-Cienfuegos-Trinidad-Varadero-Havana, and it was amazing. Maramar is in Casablanca, and the house has all the comforts you'd want in a Cuban home. The neighbors and people nearby felt very genuine, and crossing the river by little boat was fun. Christ the Redeemer is close by. Thanks to Rosi and Joan, we had the authentic Cuba experience we'd hoped for. We'll always remember Maramar.

The place was spotless, well equipped, and the staff were so friendly. It was much better than we expected, really comfortable and safe. I'd highly recommend it as one of the best options for a trip to Cuba, and we hope to rent it again next time.

Maramar was the best place we stayed during our trip around the island. It's recently renovated and tastefully furnished, with a great view over Havana Bay and sights like the Capitol and the Russian Orthodox Church. We felt at home thanks to the kindness of the people running the house. It's only 10 minutes from the center of Old Havana, yet the neighborhood is quiet and cozy. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can.

We got the experience we expected, and it was unforgettable, with a real Cuban feel. The house has just been remodeled and was bright, clean, and comfortable, with a great location, lovely views, and a quiet setting just a stone's throw from Old Havana. The welcome and help were perfect. I'd recommend it!
