Edgar and Marbelis made us feel right at home. The house is in a great spot in La Habana, within walking distance of all the places you need to see. I'd stay there again if I return.

We felt at home right away, and the family gave us plenty of useful advice and support. Marbelis, Edgar, Aurora, Mili, and of course Bell made our two stays in November 2023 feel truly warm and welcoming. If you want to experience authentic Cuba, this casa particular is a wonderful place to do it. Simply fantastic. Casa Hostal Colonial Los Balcones is a must for our next trip to Cuba.

Our hosts were incredibly helpful when one of our bags went missing, and they also offer taxi services. The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning, and breakfast is served on site with fresh, good-quality products. The welcome is warm and the service attentive, while the location gives you quick access to Havana's activities.

The neighborhood gives you a feel for everyday life in a country quite different from others, and the accommodation is well placed for walks to either Old Havana or Vedado. Edgar and Marbelis, with help from Aurora, the youngest member of the team, made us feel at home within just a few hours. Everything was clean, and a good breakfast rounded out the stay.
