Cubanacan Mojito

The beach behind the resort is absolutely beautiful, but that's where the positives stop. The washrooms weren't properly maintained: the flush didn't work on both the first and last day, and tissues were rarely stocked. Food was a major disappointment too. Most dishes were bland or poorly prepared, and the dining area hygiene didn't feel up to standard. Getting an à la carte reservation was impossible even though the resort wasn't full. The location is great, but maintenance, food, and service let the place down. We wouldn't return.

We just got back to Canada after an amazing week at Hotel Mojito. Ramón at guest services made sure we enjoyed every moment, and all the staff helped make our visit special. The location is beautiful, facilities are good, food tasty, and people friendly and helpful. The à la carte meal was especially good, beautifully presented, and Greyvis gave impeccable service. The swim-up bar at the main pool was another highlight, with Óscar always making the best drinks. Gracias de corazón ❤️

I'm here now, and it's going to be a long week. There's no hot water in the room, and the outdoor lights are out, so getting to and from the lobby after dark feels like taking my life in my hands. The batteries in both the TV and AC remotes are dead. That was supposed to be fixed this morning, but it still hasn't been dealt with. None of the bars have cocktails like margaritas or pina coladas, and there's nothing but flat pop for mixers.

I've been to Mojito quite a few times and love the place, especially the people. I saw a recent comment about money missing from a safe. Good thing it was only 100 dollars and not a passport. The safes are fine when they work, but the last room I stayed in had a safe set to open with any four numbers you chose. I tested it, and any four numbers would open it, so it wasn't very safe. The mechanic Ernesto fixed it. He's very talented and a nice guy, and now lives in Florida. Test your safe. If it doesn't work, Guest Services will send someone to fix it, or you can ask for another room with a working safe.
