Melia Cayo Coco (Adults Only)

This was our 14th visit to Melia Cayo Coco, and our best one yet. We stayed three weeks and got an upgrade on arrival to a sea-view room overlooking the Ranchon. The management and reception teams were great and quick to answer our questions. The staff were amazing and helpful, and we enjoyed the food in every area. On our first night we ate at the Italian a la carte, where the food and service were first class. We were also invited to the returning guests dinner and were blown away by the quality of both the food and service. It was really hot, so we didn’t do many beach activities, though we tried a few dance lessons and the occasional game. As ever, the entertainment team were brilliant. We went to nearly all the evening shows, with top quality acts and awesome resort dancers. Can’t wait to return next year.

A really relaxing adult resort, just the right size. There was plenty of good quality food and no shortages. Our room hadn’t been renovated, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff work hard to make sure your needs are met, always with a smile, and it’s amazing how personally they remember you. Activities are low-key and easygoing, with no loud, wild parties. The entertainment was fantastic and enjoyable. I highly recommend Melia Cayo Coco and hope to come back.

We had a relaxing, very good stay at Melia Cayo Coco. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms were well looked after, and the food was excellent. There was lots of variety at the bar, and we didn’t run short of water, coffee, or eggs, unlike places we’ve stayed before. We would have liked a bigger room, but Sunwing Travel didn’t have one available.

The beach was lovely, and the resort has several good pools. The rooms and property were clean, and there was always something tasty to choose from across the three restaurants, buffet, and snack bar. Morning coffee was exceptional, any kind you wanted. I especially loved the woman who usually made it, she’s a real advocate for the resort. The place was above average for Cuba in every way, but the staff won us over, especially the entertainers. Albert was a favorite, and the entertainment overall was engaging, fun, and inclusive. We’ll come back just for them. I really can’t say enough about the service at Melia Costa Rey.
