Ivan and Lili's warmth and kindness made this place stand out from the others on our 12 day tour. They're delightful people, and we'll always remember our long conversations. Ivan, a former Cuban national-level boxer and wrestler, is still in mighty great shape. He and his son kindly carried our luggage up a flight of stairs to our 1st floor rooms. Ivan's strong build and upright character made him a memorable person from the trip. We stayed one night as part of a tour with Inspiring Vacations. The accommodations were comfortable and spotlessly clean, with several indoor and outdoor spaces for eating and relaxing, plus lovely rooftop views. The rooms have air conditioning, and the house almost never has blackouts. Breakfast was included and very nice, with eggs made to order, fresh fruit, and more. There's also a surprisingly wide choice of rums and mixed drinks on the evening menu. I enjoyed trying some excellent Cuban rums I hadn't seen elsewhere. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cienfuegos.
