Lydia, whose name I hope I've spelled correctly, was friendly, kind, and helpful. She doesn't speak English, though she knows a little German, so we managed with gestures when Spanish wasn't an option. WiFi is available near the casa entrance, but the signal isn't very strong. This was a very good casa particular, with a large bedroom, a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, and air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and worked fine, though a bit basic, with no toilet seat. Breakfast cost 5CUC and was the usual Cuban style, served in the owner's kitchen. I can recommend the casa.
