I stayed almost a month and had the small room at the top of the house. It was clean, tidy, and cozy, just right for one or two people who don’t need much space. Most of the time I was the only guest, and with only three rooms I can see why it wouldn’t feel crowded. The house sits high above the street in a beautiful old building, tastefully decorated. Guests have the front section and the hosts the back, separated by a long corridor over a courtyard. You get your own keys and can come and go any time, day or night. There’s a roomy living area for guests, a traditional balcony with tables and chairs, and even a roof garden. Breakfast was excellent: fruit, juice, eggs, butter, cold meats, cheese, toast, jam, honey, and coffee. It’s close to the old square, but quiet and peaceful enough for a good night’s sleep. Central Havana is about a 10-minute walk away. A real gem.

I had a lovely week here in Cuba recently. The room was a good size and very clean, and breakfast came with more food and juice than I could manage. The people working there were so nice. The guy we spoke with most had a wonderfully contagious smile, and I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m there.

A lovely old house in a beautiful part of Havana, with clean rooms where I got a good night's rest. It was private and peaceful, the staff were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was very good. The price was good too. If you want to stay in this part of town, this is a great Casa.
