Really good experience. The hostel staff were super friendly, especially Sandra and her aunt. We had no problems with hidden charges, just ask first. Funny thing, our room had no window, only a curtain 😂

We had an awesome stay. Not every room may have windows, but the homemade guava juice was a real blessing.

The neighborhood is quiet, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Capitolio. The cigar factory is nearby, too. The staff were so attentive and welcoming that I’m planning to come back next year and stay here again. Breakfast was included in our room price, with no extra charge. I’ve seen some inaccurate reviews about that, so please be careful what you say. Thank you.

Be careful. They ask you to pay for everything, including breakfast even though it’s listed as included. They may also ask for cash for reservations you’ve already paid for. Without WiFi, it can be hard to check that payment. Don’t go.
