I stayed here years ago and thought it was beautiful. The hotel was destroyed in a gas explosion in 2022 and has NOT been rebuilt. There’s an 'official' website taking reservations, and I tried to report it but got nowhere. Don’t book it. As of January 2026, it still hasn’t been rebuilt.

Love how the new extension follows the same architectural style. It’s a great way to preserve that Havana charm!
