The location is the one good thing here. The hotel isn't clean enough, feels poorly managed and disorganized, and the staff weren't very nice.

I wanted to like this hotel for its architecture and location, but it doesn't meet a five-star standard. My room had cockroaches and a toilet that didn't work. Fixing those issues took a lot of my time and repeated trips to reception. For what I paid, I wouldn't recommend it.

The building is lovely and the location is great, but the hotel has no character and isn't close to five-star quality. After a very long journey, the staff weren't particularly welcoming and insisted we couldn't enter our rooms until 4, without even checking whether they were ready. We were left waiting in 40-degree heat with no offer of a drink or WiFi. We couldn't contact anyone, and couldn't change currency until we arrived. Cash wasn't accepted, and card payments were in CUP unless you chose a terrible exchange rate that made no sense for tourists. Breakfast was below average.

Housekeeping Ashley did a fantastic job with our room. The breakfast was tasty, and the location is brilliant. A great place to stay in Havana.

The price is good, so the quality for the money works out well. Don't expect European five-star service. I've stayed at iberostar parque hotel in Cuba, where you pay three times more and end up mad. At least this hotel is reasonably priced. The room picture says it all.
