The owners are friendly and make you feel like family. They provide excellent service, and the hostel is clean and very well located, so it's easy to get around Santiago de Cuba and see its important sites. I highly recommend staying here.

I definitely plan to stay here again on my next trip to Santiago de Cuba, and I want to thank Aina for her kindness. I also hope she keeps the house in its current condition. It's a peaceful spot close to the bustle of Santiago, and I found it clean, comfortable, and safe, with spacious, well-kept rooms and common areas. The house is fully equipped, and the shower is comfortable. Aina is attentive, friendly, polite, and completely committed to making guests feel at ease. I usually stay at the Melia Santiago, but it was closed for renovations this time, so I spent 15 days in Santiago de Cuba at Casa Granda. What a disaster. I don't mean that as a criticism of the hotel, though. I want to focus on the rental house, which was a wonderful place to stay. I'm a regular there and a very particular, demanding guest, but every day in this house was truly wonderful. I miss having breakfast on the terrace: good, freshly brewed coffee, a couple of fried eggs, and 100% natural juice. I won't upload photos since what's shown here is accurate. The house feels even more spacious and clean in person. I recommend it 100% to anyone visiting Santiago de Cuba. It doesn't have the pool or restaurant services of the Melia Santiago, but the price is comparable, and staying in a cozy, clean, safe home feels fantastic.
