The dinners at Casa Espinela were full of care, especially the fish, which was easily the best we ate in Cuba and could hold its own against many very good restaurants. Breakfasts were impeccable too. Meals came with lovely singing and guitar, and staying with Osmel and his family felt like being in a home with an artistic soul. Everyone in our group agreed this was the best part of our 10 day trip to Cuba, even compared with Hotel National in Havana. Osmel helped arrange tours and excursions, and the driver he connected us with was reliable and skilled. We went horseback riding to waterfalls, saw an old sugar plantation, took a salsa lesson on the terrace, and even had an impromptu mojito lesson with Osmel. We also made a couple of trips to the beautiful beach. We'd highly recommend Casa Espinela.
