Isabel and her staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help. The hotel is a beautiful old building, conveniently near the CNAD building. We felt comfortable walking around the area and into central Mindelo during the day and early evening. Breakfast was fabulous, with both great quality and generous quantity. We had the ground-floor room beside reception and the courtyard. They warned us it might be a little noisy, but honestly, we didn’t notice it. We’d happily recommend Kira’s and would stay again if we’re in Mindelo.

The people at Kira’s were incredibly helpful. I only realized at the airport that I’d left my headphones in the room, and when I called, they sent a driver with them and a printed sign with my name so I could spot him. Isabel and the rest of the staff were kind and welcoming throughout. There’s a lovely rooftop to relax on and an outdoor terrace for the delicious breakfast. I’d absolutely recommend staying here in Mindelo.

The location is great, and the rooms are tidy and cosy. Everyone was so helpful and nice, and breakfast was superb. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel when I’m in Cabo Verde.

After staying at a couple of hotels on Sao Vicente, Kira’s was easily our favorite. The rooms were clean, the location central, and breakfast was great. The staff were genuinely friendly, and I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The rooftop lounge is a nice place to spend time, and the hotel is conveniently close to the city center. We could hear some street noise on the street-facing side, though. The staff were very friendly, and I’d recommend it.
