Angulo House

The room was a really good size, with a balcony, comfy chairs, and even a drying rail. The beach is nearby, though it needs cleaning at that end, and the ocean is beautiful. There’s construction nearby, but it was only during the day in the middle of the week, and I was usually at the beach. At least they’re building, unlike much of CV, where buildings are left as half-finished breeze blocks. The place was lovely and spotless, with fluffy towels and soft sheets changed regularly. Breakfast pancakes were delicious, service was great, and it was delightful having the cats around. They’ll leave you in peace if you don’t like them.

The staff were so kind and made my stay more enjoyable. The location is great, close to both the city center and the beach, and breakfast was delicious. Everything worked perfectly, the cleanliness was 100/10, and I felt very safe. The atmosphere was outstanding. All together, it made for an unforgettable five-day stay.

The pool is small, but we knew that and it wasn’t a problem. We’d pop in for a moment after the beach. Breakfast was okay for a small hotel, with tea, coffee, bread, cornflakes, fruit, cakes, biscuits, and pancakes. You can ask for an omelet if you want one. Our room was basic, just as expected. The balcony works for two, the bathroom and toilet were both good, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the small freezer was fine. The TV didn’t work, though I’m not sure we needed it. The air cooling was effective, maybe too effective: even after setting the temperature, it just kept cooling and didn’t seem to stop at the set level. A couple of small things would help: a trash bin in the living room, and a stand or some hooks by the front door for jackets.

The rooms and bathrooms were a good size. Breakfast was reasonable, the coffee was really good, and the small pool was adequate.
