Leme Badje residence

Leme Bedje was clean, spacious and just what we needed for our week. We booked through Air B&B with Bobbywashere and would highly recommend that route. We were well looked after, with taxis waiting at the airport and Celeste there to welcome us to the apartment. The view was perfect, and the location is just right, on the beach and away from the noise, with a pool close by. Keep an eye out for the resident cat. We named her ‘Sal’, invited her in for cuddles and milk, and loved having her around. We'll be back. We loved Cape Verde! 🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻

My wife and I wanted a home away from home in Santa Maria, Sal, Cape Verde, Africa, while on holiday from Manchester, England 🏴. We don't like all-inclusive resorts or hotels, so as usual we looked on Airbnb and found Leme Bedje apartments, hosted by Bobby Was Here. We booked a two-bedroom apartment with air conditioning. It was huge, with an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. There were two bedrooms, one master with an en-suite bathroom and a smaller room with two single beds. It had everything for a short or long stay: a washing machine, air conditioning, Smart TV and fridge freezer. The large balcony looked over the pool, and there was security, though you don't really need it. The hosts left a welcome pack with coffee pods, bottled water, toilet paper and shower gel, plus biscuits, crackers, a lovely card and a Sal, Cape Verde fridge magnet. Bobby Was Here were amazing from before we arrived. They arranged a taxi from the airport, communicated brilliantly, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. They also shared a detailed link for excursions and restaurants. I write a lot of Google reviews and always give my honest opinion on food, cleanliness, drinks, service, value, setting and ambience. I have over 32,000,000 views on Google alone. I've reviewed places near home in Manchester with my wife, and places we've visited while travelling around the country to watch my beloved Oldham Athletic, as well as day trips and holidays together. I've reviewed all sorts of places, from restaurants, bars, beaches and beach clubs to taxis, airports, flights, beauty treatments, barbers, hotels, churches, basilicas, shooting ranges, hairdressers and football stadiums. Our trips have taken us from Manchester to Split, Hvar and Supetar in Croatia, Rome and the Vatican in Italy, Bezier Cap d'Agde and Montpellier in the South of France, Podgorica and Budva in Montenegro, Tirana, Sarande and Ksamil in Albania, Krakow and Zakopane in Poland, and Sal, Cape Verde/Cabo Verde, Africa 🌍.

We never felt unsafe. The beach is right in front, the property's own pool is great, and the centre is a five-minute walk away. The staff are kind and very helpful. They clean every day and change the towels every four days.

The apartment was very spacious, and the beach view was amazing, just like in the photos. We had very good service from the friendly staff. The cute cats around the hotel made our stay even more enjoyable.
