We live in the area and enjoy coming here, especially for the very good food and the great energy from the staff, all smiles and good vibes. They kindly swap the fish for us in the couscous dish, which is our favorite. There is live music, but we prefer quiet evenings because it's so close to the tables, here and at neighboring establishments, that having a conversation is difficult. It seems aimed mainly at tourists. Still, five stars and highly recommended. Thank you, Musica Do Mar!

The staff are very nice. One night they even lent me boxes to take food away, and the musicians playing every night are a nice touch. The fritters from the snack menu were good. The food itself is quite average, though. I'd skip the pesto spaghetti, which was just spaghetti with a little oregano and goat cheese on the side. The spring salad had beetroot, olives, and egg on top, a strange mix. The daily fish was quite salty, while the chicken salad was okay, with actual salad in it.

The view was incredible, the staff were the friendliest, and the bed was huge with comfortable facilities. I especially recommend it for the live music at night and the waves you can hear in the morning. Muito obrigado Carla, Ana e o resto da família maravilhosa!

We booked an outdoor table to have dinner and hear the live local music. The band played really well, and the experience was great. The vegetarian pesto pasta was tasty, and the red wine and desserts were delicious. The waitresses were quick and very polite, which isn't always the case in Cabo Verde. I'd recommend coming for the experience.
