The welcome was lovely, with Arlindo’s daughter kindly letting me in early in the morning. Pedra rala is a comfortable, clean place in Porto Novo, about a 10-minute walk from the Ferrys station and just a couple of minutes from the beach. It felt relaxed and safe, with genuine Cape Verdean Morabeza.
The house is close to the center, and we had a very good room for our two nights. We contacted the host on WhatsApp, and he and his sons took care of everything really well. They were very caring.
The room was big and cleaned every day. I stayed three nights while doing my open water diving, and it worked out perfectly. Thanks for hosting me.
We only stayed one night, but the room was big and clean, and the price was really good.
It’s clean and basic, with a reasonable price. The room is very large, and there’s a dining area with a table, chairs, plates, and glasses, plus a refrigerator and kettle. There are also a couple of chairs by the door. The bamboo bed frame makes quite a lot of noise whenever you move, though.
