The hotel has a great spot near a beautiful beach, hiking trails, and a tourist office around the corner. There's also a bakery and a small convenience store downstairs. The employees were friendly and helpful, and I thought it was a great hotel overall. The drawbacks were the stray dogs outside and the lack of windows. Unless you're in a suite, the rooms have very few, if any, windows.

The rooms and balconies are huge, and the place is incredibly clean, though it's not European standard. It's right above the town bakery, and depending on your room you get a mountain or sea view. Angelo at reception was amazing, kind, and always ready to help. We'll definitely be back!

I was told to leave my keys at reception, but there was nobody there at night. I ended up having to sleep outside by the door, on the street with the stray dogs. They didn't refund me. Dishonest and mean, and completely incompetent.

A nice, clean place with nice people. You can get a good breakfast or lunch, and there's pizza and hamburgers too.

The owner was very kind, and the staff were professional. It's a good hotel for a stay in Praia: the rooms were clean, had extra blankets and AC, and stayed quiet at night, even facing the street. WiFi worked. Breakfast was among the best we had on the Cap Verdes.
