Pietermaai Oasis

We spent five nights there in February. The room was clean and very comfortable, and we liked being close to great restaurants and a lively street scene that wasn’t loud.

Both pools were inviting, and we had a great time at the property. Our accommodations were clean, neat, and had a great feel. The location is on one of the liveliest streets in Pietermaai, with top notch nightlife, food, and drinks, and everything is within walking distance. The hosts were easy to reach on WhatsApp, helped arrange taxis, and shared lots of recommendations to fill our days exploring Curacao. Construction was underway during our stay, but it wasn’t anything to worry about. They’re working hard to renovate the place and make it even nicer. We’d be glad to stay again, and would recommend Pietermaai Oasis to anyone visiting Willemstad who wants to experience this vibrant, up and coming restored area.

The rooms were lovely and clean, the pools beautiful, and our hosts responded quickly to questions and helped us arrange taxis. We’d definitely recommend staying here. There was construction, but it didn’t bother us since we were out during working hours. The location is great, right on a street full of young energy, live music, cocktails, and restaurants. You can walk to many parts of Willemstad.

The two pools were well cared for and a nice way to cool off after snorkeling and sightseeing. Service was welcoming and accommodating, the housecleaner did a thorough job, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The AC worked well, though I wished there were a ceiling or floor fan to move the air. The bathroom got a bit muggy, with only shutters and no sealed window. The location is fabulous, next to the Punta Vibes bars and restaurants and an easy walk from downtown Willemstad. Bring earplugs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, or step out to dance on your street side patio and enjoy the live music at Mundo Bizzaro.
