Villa San Sebastian

The hosts really stood out. They’re a lovely, caring couple who spend much of the day working in the garden and clearly enjoy having guests around. The location also makes a good base for exploring Curaçao, and there’s a sheltered spot for your rental car. The pool is nice and we mostly had it to ourselves, though some shade over a corner of it would be a useful improvement because it gets full sun. Our room was basic, and the furniture and bed could probably use updating, but it was still okay. A great stay at a lovely property.

Huib and Mary made us feel completely at home. They’re warm, friendly people, and they pointed us toward local restaurants and romantic spots that felt off the beaten path. We had a truly memorable experience. We’re already asking ourselves when we can come back, and how soon. ❤️

The studios were comfortable and well cared for, and having a kitchen made a big difference for us. We also loved spending time by the infinity pool and on the covered verandas. Villa San Sebastian Curaçao is beautifully maintained, lively but still peaceful. Mary & Huib were kind, flexible with our requests, and full of helpful suggestions for nearby beaches and sights. We stayed last month and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The pool was great for unwinding, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. There were plenty of places to lounge outside, from the veranda and different seats to the hammocks. We felt safe the whole time, and the closest beach was only a 5-10 minute drive away. Mary and Hub were such warm hosts, and their furry companions were lovely too. The property is huge and incredibly beautiful, much more impressive in person than any photo can show. Communication was always quick and easy. We had a deeply peaceful, tropical stay, fell in love with the island, and came away with a real fondness for our hosts. Thank you for everything.
