The location was great, and despite a few inconveniences I’d happily stay at Kontiki Resort again. The grounds were spotless and well kept, the room was gorgeous, and the food was generally good at reasonable prices. The music at night didn’t bother me. I visited January 10-13 for my birthday. The balloons and room decorations I requested didn’t arrive as planned. The shower took a while to heat up, and the room door was difficult to open and close. Service at the restaurants and beach club was a bit slow. One night, the crew replaced all the beach cabanas outside, and their loud talking and banging went on all night.

The best part of our stay at The Kontiki Beach Resort in 11/2025 was waking up to the sound of the waves and nature with the balcony doors open. It felt so peaceful, like a little piece of paradise we wished we could bring home 😊. The resort was beautiful, the weather was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help with anything. For a quick getaway, Curaçao is a great choice, and The Kontiki Beach Resort is a lovely place to stay.

The VIP beach cabana staff were the one letdown, as they struggled to keep up with our orders. The other bars and restaurants were excellent, and the staff overall were great, especially Angel(o). He led a morning walk around a lagoon where we saw flamingos, and was fantastic. We stayed in a spacious, luxurious, romantic Seaview suite with a pool on the balcony. We had a wonderful time and would recommend the resort.

The hotel grounds are lovely, with lots of greenery, flowers, and nature, and the pool water was warm and very clean. The room was just okay, though. The AC didn't cool it well, and housekeeping was slow and never really cleaned it properly. The beach was crowded, with lots of tourists right beside the loungers. I'm not sure I'd choose this hotel again.

The bathroom in our Tropical Superior room had an unpleasant smell. On the plus side, I loved the saltwater pools and the lush jungle setting. The staff were wonderful, especially Dinesh, who went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I had a great stay.
