That sandy beach and pier are where we like to unwind and take in the view, and there are plenty of drinks and lovely cocktails to add to the holiday feel. We come back to Merit Crystal every year as a family of four, and the trips always end well. The food is fresh, high quality, and offers lots of choice. Staff look after us throughout, and the casino is spacious enough and well organized. Some rooms feel a bit dated and could do with refurbishment, but that’s the only real downside. Already looking forward to next time.

The island setting feels peaceful and secluded, with clear water and a sandy beach, yet everything we needed was close by. We had spacious rooms with elegant decor and views of either the sea or gardens, plus a high level of comfort and attention to detail. The beach was a highlight, whether swimming, relaxing in the sun, or trying water sports. Dining was just as good, with several restaurants serving flavorful food from around the world. The casino had a lively feel and games for both beginners and experienced players, with friendly, professional staff. It’s a luxurious mix of relaxation and entertainment, and I’d recommend it for a holiday or special occasion. A real five star stay for me.

We went as a family with our three adult kids, and all five of us had a great time. We made use of all the services, and there were families with young children there too. The all inclusive food was amazing, with an impressive range of options for everyone. Really loved the quality of the service and amenities. Highly recommend it.

For poker in Cyprus, Merit Poker was the best experience I could have asked for. The games were good, everyone was friendly, and it’s the only poker room I know that doesn’t allow smoking. Games can start as early as 2:30-3:30 pm. If you play for six hours, including a 45 minute dinner break, they provide free transportation and a hotel. The food at all the Merit hotels, Royal, Diamond, and Royal Premium, was exquisite. Their varied buffets had some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, and I plan to return for another vacation hosted by Merit Poker. My requests, including a baby car seat and a room change, were all met or exceeded. The one letdown was the kids zone staff, who weren’t the best. They do offer nanny service for babies, but at $30 an hour it felt a little expensive. Nothing is perfect, but Merit is undoubtedly the best hotel and casino in Cyprus.
