Cornaro House

The apartment felt cramped, with one room serving as both the bedroom and a small bathroom area. There was no wardrobe, just some storage under the bed, and the only blanket was too thin. Seating was limited to one chair, with no proper table beyond a small one under the TV. The place also wasn’t clean enough, and it had no microwave or hairdryer. We also had trouble closing the doors, and there wasn’t enough kitchenware. The refrigerator smelled unpleasant, the AC didn’t work very well, and hot water was missing. Finding public parking was often difficult. For a week, we were given only two rolls of toilet paper, which wasn’t enough.

A handy base for visiting nearby wineries, though the access streets are narrow for driving.

The village house has a rustic charm and sits at the top end of historic, endearing Asos. The kitchen equipment is very limited, and both the hot water and WiFi were poor. It won’t suit you if you expect all the modern comforts, but it’s a good fit for a few days in a genuine hillside village house.

The place was very dirty and didn’t match what was shown on the site. I can’t understand how other visitors could leave good comments and give it five stars.
