Flora Maria Hotel & Annex Apartments

I stayed at Flora Maria Hotel in Ayia Napa from 3-10 August 2025, and the experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. On arrival, I waited three hours because my room wasn't ready or properly cleaned. During my stay, my ex-partner physically attacked me in my room, and a staff member witnessed it. The police were called and my ex-partner was told to leave immediately. Despite this serious incident, manager Linda showed no concern for my safety or wellbeing. Linda said I could stay for the rest of my booking but couldn't extend it. With one day left, I asked the same staff member who had witnessed the attack about extending, and he said I could. The next day Linda shouted at me aggressively, demanded I cancel my booking immediately, and promised a refund within 48 hours. I had two witnesses, but no refund was ever issued. When I later contacted the hotel, Linda denied everything and accused me of lying, despite the witnesses. I also overheard Linda telling staff to mislead other guests. Two women asked to extend their stay, and she told them not to book on Booking.com and that they would have to pay at reception. After they walked away, she told staff to say the hotel was fully booked if anyone asked to extend. I found this dishonest and unprofessional. Linda also seemed very unfriendly and unapproachable, and rarely engaged with or welcomed guests. That lack of professionalism made an already difficult experience worse. Some staff were kind and helpful, but the manager's conduct was unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially to guests in vulnerable situations.
