There’s lots of room at no's 7, including the bonus of a roof balcony, and the place was very clean. Some of the furniture and kitchen could use a bit of TLC. The host was welcoming, and there was bread, butter, jam, water, juice, coffee, and sugar waiting for us. That was helpful after our late flight. I’d brought my own teabags. There was no salt or pepper, which I usually find in apartments, so we bought salt. No big deal, though I could have brought some. The location is great and not far from anywhere, with a pool-level check on Monday. Contact numbers are left in the villa in case you need anyone. The stock photos are old, and quite a bit of development has happened around the villas since they were taken. You’ll need to buy charcoal and firelighters for the BBQ, but they’re cheap at the supermarket. There are plenty of regular lighters there already. Bring washing and dishwasher tablets if you need them. People leave leftovers, but we ran the dishwasher daily. We found the big supermarket in Coral bay best. There’s an ice box in the villa, and we used it to keep things cold or frozen. Chicken cost more per kilo than at home, though the quality was much better. Chicken and steak were both great on the BBQ. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a private pool that was immaculate, a great BBQ area, and private parking. The villa had three large bedrooms, each with an ensuite shower, bath, and toilet, plus a fourth toilet. The neighbouring hotel’s entertainment was poor quality, but for a couple of hours each evening it ended up being more amusing than annoying.

The villa was very clean, with decent-sized rooms, but it looked tired and needs updating. Ants were an issue outside, coming indoors or gathering by our feet at the outside table. We bought three bottles of ant spray for the entrances and around the table. Maybe the outdoor areas hadn’t been sprayed because we were the first guests arriving in April. I wouldn’t return unless some of these issues were dealt with. A car is probably needed, though there is a bus route. There are some restaurants and a small supermarket within walking distance. The pool isn’t heated, so it would probably be too cold for a dip in the off season.

We can’t praise villa 1’s beautiful pool area enough. The villa was fantastic, perfectly situated not too far from Paphos, and just as clean and well kept as the reviews said. The directions and access details were clear and worked perfectly. We also really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, coffee, juice, and butter.
