Elena Boutique Residence

A quiet area, with a lovely little pool and a very nice manager who was friendly and helpful. The beach and shops are around a 10-minute walk away. It’s great value for money, and I’d definitely return.

The location didn’t feel good or safe to me. Around 9 p.m. I went out just to buy water and was harassed by two separate groups of men. Since the ownership changed, there’s no bar or breakfast. The pool was sad and dirty, right beside a cramped parking lot. The place is nothing like its online photos, and I don’t see anything boutique about it. There was no service; guests are even expected to take out their own trash, something I’ve never had to do at a hotel. The property is very outdated. My room smelled moldy and wasn’t properly cleaned, it felt disgusting. The shower pressure was extremely low even though I was on the first floor, and the flimsy shower door made me worry it might fall off. The towels were old, worn and didn’t feel clean. Strongly recommend not booking this place.

The kindest owner looked after us, and everything was clean. We had a fridge with water and the toiletries we needed. When taxis weren’t available, the owner offered us rides. A very nice hotel!

The owner is delightful and really helpful, and the staff gave 5-star service. It’s a cute place in a quiet part of town, easy to reach from the airport by city bus. There’s a pool too, so remember your bathing suit!
