Atlantica Miramare Beach

The breakfast buffet is vast, and the staff are very attentive. The facilities are good, though pared back for winter. I'd like to visit again in summer to see how it is then. The rooms are a little dated, which gives them a fancier feel. A few useful things weren't on the welcome sheet: get the room safe key from reception; for a spa or pool towel, the spa staff say reception should give you a keycard to take to the spa desk. There's a free water refill point in the semi-circular bar, through the door to the left of the lobby bar. If you're not all inclusive, the buffet costs €30. In winter the aircon only heats, so turn it off if you're too hot. There's a bus stop at the top of the road on the right, with buses into Limassol every 10 mins for €2 a single, cash only, so you don't need a taxi into town. If you do want one, the taxi hut opposite the hotel entrance is quite reasonable.

We paid extra for a sea view and it was well worth it. The room was spacious and very clean, with shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, tea, and coffee all supplied and topped up as needed. Breakfast was a very good buffet, including a separate vegan bar with delicious fruit and other treats. There's a reception desk where you can book trips, hire a car, or ask questions. Lloyd knew his stuff and arranged a car for two days as well as a fab trip to Troodos mountains and villages. The gardens are beautiful, and you can walk into Limassol or take the bus. Lots of food places and supermarkets are nearby. Much better than expected, and I'd highly recommend the hotel.

The team deserve all the compliments, it's clear they love what they do. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged, and the service was at a very high level. Everyone was exceptionally kind and ready to help. I especially want to praise receptionist Miodrag for his professionalism and warm manner, Jasmine the bartender for always being cheerful and attentive, and Zorica, the restaurant manager, for her great organization and friendly approach, which made for such a pleasant atmosphere and flawless service. Highly recommended. We'll be happy to come back.

We spent Christmas there with our kids and friends. It was a nice place, and the beds were comfy, but the rooms were very old and had no power plugs beside the bed. They only provided one free bottle of water for three days.
