2/10
The room at Le Village Hotel was filthy and in terrible shape. There were stains on the bedsheets, the blanket was dirty and smelled bad, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. It all felt unhygienic and unacceptable. Before arriving, I called to ask about check-in time, but the man on the phone was extremely rude and wouldn’t help. My experience was terrible, and I strongly advise people not to stay here. Don’t be taken in by the photos or ratings. It isn’t worth it.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable, organized, and spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and attentive, ready to help with a smile. It was a truly pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it.

The room was modest and showed a little wear, but nothing too worrying, and everything worked as it should: air conditioning, hot water, TV, and internet. Staff were available and helpful when I asked, though they didn’t take much initiative. Breakfast was served every morning, but the choices barely changed. Shops, cafes, and public transit are close by, which is a real plus. A decent budget option, and my stay was okay overall.

I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. We asked for a smoke-free room, but the one we got smelled of smoke, including the bed linen, curtains, and towels. Nothing is within walking distance.

It’s a clean, practical place for an affordable one-night stay or a quick stopover. The style is classic and feels from another era, so don’t expect very modern amenities. Still, it does the job if you want somewhere simple to rest that won’t cost much.
