Ledra Star Central Apartment

The manager was a nice guy and tried to help me stay longer because my flight wasn't until 9 pm. Check-out was at noon, though, and the cleaners started knocking at 11:05. I told them I was in the shower and naked, and asked them to come back at noon. They kept coming back every 10 minutes. Very, very annoying. As for the apartment, it was run-down, noisy, impractical, and not cosy. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself whether cooking there, shaving or putting on makeup, and getting a nice feel from the lighting would work for you.

The apartment was in terrible shape and smelled like a sewer. We were also given the wrong information about parking by the owner, and ended up with a fine on the car. Be careful, and don't trust that advice. My suggestion is to avoid booking this apartment. Worst experience in Cyprus.

The apartment was roomy and nice, but getting help was a problem. There was no hotel front desk, and without phone service we had to ask someone at a coffee shop to call the landlord. He couldn't make change, so we overpaid. He promised to slide the rest under the door, but it never arrived. Outside noise from the bars below went on until 4 am, then construction started at 5:30 am, making sleep really noisy. The Wi-Fi stopped working after the first day and wouldn't come back. I messaged the landlord using public Wi-Fi at Subway, but he didn't reply for the rest of our stay. Kind of disappointing, since the place itself was nice.

The location is the big plus, and the accommodation just about meets the minimum for an acceptable night's sleep. In my room, the fridge was in the sleeping area and made noise, using the air conditioning cost extra, and the shower's temperature and volume controls were unacceptable. There was only one light in the bedroom, with no bedside lamp.
