The location made getting around easy, with airport shuttles within walking distance and plenty of bus routes nearby. I also found the room roomy and comfortable, with useful things like cups and utensils, and the packaged breakfast was handy. The staff were friendly, especially the welcoming, helpful woman at reception, and speaking English made things straightforward. A couple of drawbacks: the price felt high for what was offered, since similar quality seemed available nearby for less. The hotel is entirely non-smoking, which could bother some people, though it didn’t bother me. My European plug charger wouldn’t fit the UK-style socket either. Reception lent me an extension adapter after I asked, with a 100 TL deposit that was returned when I brought it back.

It’s roughly a 25-minute walk to the old town and Ledra St Greek/Cypriot border, and about 25 minutes by car to Larnaca International. The rooms are clean and comfortable for a reasonable price. It works well for a short stay or transit stop, though there isn’t much nearby beyond basic grocers and kebab shops.

We expected a lot since the hotel was new, but the service was awful. During our five days there, nobody cleaned the room, and we had to go to reception ourselves for towels and toilet paper. A loud motor ran near our room every night and kept us from sleeping well. Maybe it was generating electricity, but I’m not sure. We’d booked and paid for a superior room, yet were first given a standard one. After changing rooms, the supposed superior had the smallest hotel bathroom I’ve ever seen. The room looked nice at first and the furniture was still new, but the closet was broken. Then we found small animals in the bathroom and bed. We’d planned to stay ten days, but left and won’t return.

The room didn’t have enough light, and the water in the WC was very weak. They also shut off the water for nearly six hours. I really can’t recommend this place.
