The laundry smell in the room was nice, and I appreciated the thought they'd put into it. They offered me a glass of wine during the painfully slow checkout, which was a thoughtful gesture. But the check-in wait was unacceptable: I stood there for 21 minutes while the receptionist handled one room's check-in. This was also the only hotel in the last 10 years to ask me to provide the prepared voucher. They don't offer turn-down service either, unlike other 5-star hotels. That long wait set a bad tone for the rest of my stay.

The rooms were beautiful, and so was the view. We were very happy with our stay. It was 10-15 minutes from the castle, which we didn't mind at all. We booked through booking and weren't told about the €100/night deposit. I've never had to pay a deposit like that at any other hotel in Cyprus. It could be inconvenient for some guests, and I think people should be told before they book.

I’m uncomfortable with the way Hebrew was used when speaking to me and other guests who were clearly not from Israel. Since the business operates in Cyprus, I believe Greek or English would be more respectful of the local culture and more widely understood here. I’ll wait for your response.

The rooms are spacious and have lovely sea views, and the food is really tasty, especially the generous breakfast. The facilities are good and well looked after. It’s a beautiful hotel and clearly very well maintained.
