Vanessa Apartment

The complex itself was cozy and very well maintained, with a pool, elevator and washing machine. The price seemed okay, and it wasn't too far from Pegeia Center. The studio was much less comfortable. The mattress was awful, and the sofa bed fabric felt prickly and itchy. The pots were so dirty, with black layers that couldn't be cleaned, that I ended up buying one to cook with. There was no room cleaning or towel replacement. The TV was awkward to use with all its different remotes. The AC timer was a problem too: if it stopped during the night, I'd wake up sweaty to press the button again, and its blue light shone straight into my eyes.

The Airbnb apartment is in a quiet spot, but you'll need a car.

The ants made this apartment a miserable place to stay. Leave even a tiny crumb on the counter or floor, and thousands appear within two minutes. They got into the children's toothpaste too. We spend all day cleaning just to keep them from covering everything. The company said, "Sadly we all have ants. Not much anyone can do about that." There's also a construction site right beside the apartment window, with noise starting at 7 in the morning. And without blackout curtains, the whole place fills with light early in the day. E9 Vanessa has a lot of potential, but right now it's terrible for hosting. We're suffering and just waiting to leave. Whether you'd want to spend your next holiday living with ants is up to you.

A real home from home, and the apartments were lovely and very clean. There are two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, a small gym and a sauna. I'd definitely come back.
