Pension Hela

We spent four nights here in July 2021 as a group of six motorcyclists. This family-run guesthouse was friendly, with good food and rooms that were perfectly adequate. It’s a handy base for day trips, with the Polish border close by and lots of nearby routes, especially good if you enjoy winding roads. Bus connections near the guesthouse are good too, and Prague is just over an hour away by bus. In the village, there’s a natural pool fed by mountain water. It’s a bit cool, but wonderfully refreshing in summer. There’s also a lawn, a playground for kids, and a restaurant. There’s no admission charge at the moment, and I hope it stays that way. The price for what you get is excellent, and we’d go back anytime.
