It was a quiet, relaxing place to stay, and the receptionist was kind and cheerful. The room was tidy and had a sense of history, while the service was quite good. The hotel is close to town, with a car entrance and two parking spots. I ate at the restaurant because I arrived late and had no other choice; it was fine, but nothing special.

The restaurant food was great, and the hotel itself is beautiful. My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I did have a problem with one waitress in the restaurant, a blonde woman with glasses and tattoos. I found her very impolite and disrespectful toward foreign people, and she should improve her attitude and manners.

The restaurant was excellent, with fair prices, and the service was good and quick enough. The room was clean and warm, too. It’s a nicely located hotel, and the Czech beer was excellent as usual. I’ll definitely come back.

For what it cost, this was one of the worst value-for-money stays I’ve had in several years of living in Central and Eastern Europe. At 79€/$100, it’s high-range outside Prague, but the service didn’t match the price. The staff seemed inexperienced and, to me, like inexpensive, overworked students. They were kind, but spoke little foreign language and didn’t seem to know how to handle customers at this price level. Breakfast was virtually nonexistent when I arrived 30 minutes before it was meant to end, though perhaps it’s fine at 8am. The television didn’t work either. It comes across as a wellness spot, but I didn’t relax because it felt like they just didn’t care.
