The quiet atmosphere and the lovely valley view from the room were the best parts. The building itself is old and hasn't been renovated, and was originally built as a holiday home for the Trade Union movement during socialist times. English isn't widely spoken, and payment is cash only. In 2024, that felt unusual for a hotel.

It feels like the hotel's best days were 30 years ago, and the staff generally didn't seem very concerned. The restaurant portions were large, but the food had the quality and style of a canteen. Some of the things were strange and not nice.

The restaurant has a nice view, and the place moves at a slow pace. School groups seem to be common, and the standard feels geared toward them.

I stopped in for lunch. The food was about 6.5 out of 10.
