Statek Samsara

This is our second visit, and again something went wrong. We booked a table for two on Sunday especially because we wanted to try the kulajda, but nobody mentioned that only the buffet would be available, with no hot menu. I wouldn't have minded if they'd told us when we made the reservation. As it was, booking felt pointless.

The restaurant is a real highlight. The food is great, fairly priced, and the menu changes regularly. The cook really knows their kitchen. The place is quiet among pasture and forest, yet still easy to reach from Blansko and close to the Moravian Carst. Rooms are clean, bright, and furnished with new light wood, and the accommodation is simple but comfortable. There's a small TV and Wi-Fi, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It works well for holidays or a business trip. My one request to the owners: invest in more comfortable beds.

The restaurant serves superb meals, and breakfast was great too, with fresh food, scrambled eggs each morning if you wanted them, and really good coffee. My room was new and nicely equipped, with a great TV and internet. The hotel was quiet at night, and there's a large parking area out front. It wasn't very expensive, and it's one of the best places I've stayed.

The asparagus and polenta were delicious, and there were vegetarian choices. We stayed two nights with my husband and found the place beautiful, very clean, and warmly served. We'll definitely come again.
