PRAGUE’s HIDDEN PEARL

The location was great for our shopping, and communication was fantastic. Our room was warm and clean, though a little shabby, and the decor could use a lick of paint. It was about a 10-minute walk to the Metro, with a tram or bus stop five minutes away. Overall, it was okay.

Late at night, security staff came to our door asking for more money, and we felt unsafe and extremely uncomfortable. When we reported our concerns, the staff were rude and showed no interest in fixing anything. The apartment was dusty throughout and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The online listing promised clean bed sheets, a TV, shampoo, shower gel, and soap, but there were no sheets on the beds. In the wardrobe we found used, crumpled sheets with yellow stains. There were no hygiene products, and the only toilet paper provided was four half-used rolls. What we received was completely different from what was advertised. One of our worst accommodation experiences. It was dirty and unprofessional, and we don’t recommend staying here.

We couldn’t feel comfortable staying here even for one night, and definitely wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms were filthy and nothing like the online photos. Dust covered the floors, shelves, corners, and every surface; it looked as if nobody had cleaned for weeks. There were no sheets on the beds when we arrived, and the wardrobe held dirty, stained ones that looked used and unwashed. The bathroom was just as bad, with no shampoo, soap, or other hygiene items despite these being listed in the description. Even the toilet paper was half-used. Honestly, I don’t understand how this place is allowed to operate.

The bathroom was as bad as the rest, with no hygiene products and toilet rolls that had all been partly used. The beds had no sheets, and the wardrobe contained crumpled, stained ones that looked used and simply tossed inside. Dust was everywhere, from the floors and shelves to the bed frame. It felt like an abandoned place had suddenly been rented out without cleaning. One of the dirtiest places I’ve stayed. Disgusting from start to finish, avoid it if cleanliness matters to you.
