Penzion Slunce was a lovely, peaceful place to stay in Blatná. The rooms were clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, and the staff made me feel welcome. It’s well placed for exploring the town and the beautiful nearby castle. I’d happily come back.

Right in the city center, with a quiet room, a kitchenette and fridge, and parking in the yard. The owner was pleasant, and communication with the staff was excellent. The rooms were nice too.

The owner is really nice and helpful. Parking in the yard is a plus, with seating and a grassy spot to relax. Rooms facing the yard stay cool even in tropical weather, and the location is excellent.

We really enjoyed Blatná itself, with its lovely nature and beautiful cycling routes. The guesthouse, though, feels stuck about twenty years in the past, and it looks like it may not have been painted since then. We found the room and bathroom cleanliness very inadequate and neglected.

The room hadn’t been cleaned properly when we moved in. There were cobwebs, spiders and dust everywhere. 🤬
