This manor house in Borovná became my battery charger after we first found it in 2005. We’ve stayed several times over nearly twenty years, so I’ve seen things change, but the estate’s soul is still there. We were in Borovná last year, and I’m already looking forward to going again this year.

For small kids, this was such a good choice. Our little one was happy as a flea, especially with the playhouse, sheep, and chickens. The grounds are spacious and felt relatively safe, and nearby there’s a playground and a bunch of ponds. For a few days, all we heard was bees and chickens. I’d like cleanliness to get a bit more attention, but from a little kid’s point of view, it’s just great.

It’s peaceful here, right at the end of the world, and we had a really pleasant stay with the children. If you’re into animals, I’d definitely recommend it. I think we’ll come back someday.

We’ll be happy to come back. The rooms are lovely, and the views are beautiful. It’s quiet at the edge of the village, with lots of animals around: cats at breakfast, chickens wandering about, and sheep, goats, horses, and geese behind the gate. You can feed them by arrangement. There’s parking in a huge yard and plenty of trips to take nearby. The owners are amazing, willing to help and really helpful. After a long time, I’ve finally found accommodation with nothing to complain about. Five stars aren’t enough 🙂👍

There’s wonderful peace and quiet here, and the accommodation is amazing. The owners are very helpful. I recommend it, and if we need a place to stay here again, this is definitely our choice.
