We stopped in for lunch and got large portions at affordable prices. Well worth the money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re nearby.

The building’s historic character has its downsides: our room was quite small, though still cosy. The hotel was clean, and even with the restaurant busy at breakfast and dinner, service was quick and the staff were willing to help.

We left happy and would gladly return. The restaurant is easy to spot in the centre of Bozi Dár thanks to its green exterior, and it’s close to the ski area and moor, with good hiking destinations nearby. Food prices are good, with a nice choice of local and Bohemian dishes, and the staff were friendly and very quick.

The food is good, but the way some of the staff treat people has put us off coming back. In particular, a fairly young man, maybe around 30, came across as arrogant and unfriendly, like he thought he was above everyone. It wasn’t the first time this happened to us or to friends. We’ll eat elsewhere from now on. Other restaurants have good food too, and we don’t need that kind of unfriendliness. Bye-bye, never again.

A cosy, unusual atmosphere, tasty traditional dishes, and friendly service. A lovely spot for an evening shot of slivovica. 🙂
