Wellness Hotel Kol Tejn

Great!

A really relaxing break.

The clean, pleasant room and the good meal at the restaurant were the highlights, and the restaurant staff were pleasant. The rest of the stay left me disappointed. We were put in another building, and going back and forth with three children through all that mess was a pain, especially when coming from the pool. I booked by phone, so they could have told me about this. The pool water was cloudy. The breakfast room was small, and we only got the last available table. The people arriving after us had to wait for a spot. What bothered me most was the cot for our 2-year-old. It looked fine at first, but in the morning we found he was practically sleeping on an iron frame. We had to prop it up with poles, and the mattress was leaking. Giving a small child that to sleep on is really beyond the pale. I wouldn't come back.

The food in your restaurant was the one excellent part of our stay. We've visited several times, but we can't understand what happened this year, and this was so disappointing that we'll never come back. At the wellness area, staff forgot to turn on both saunas. The following day we had a private wellness session, but there was no champagne, even though it was included in the price, and nobody explained why. The restaurant had no beer except black beer, and staff said no one there knew how to tap a keg. At breakfast, the juice vending machine was empty, and nothing was done after we reported it. It feels like everyone is doing everything and nothing at once. There's also a young woman at reception who can't even say hello. Think about it, you're losing clients, and I think that's a shame for this hotel.
